Frozen berries
BOTESZ is a cooperative that produces the largest amount of frozen elderberry on the global market. Every year we export more than 2,000 tonnes of our frozen elderberries with different purity levels and inner content from all corners of Europe to the USA, or even to China. With the help of freezing, we can exempt our partners from the repercussions of seasonal effects, making sure that the product is constantly available.
In Hungary, the elderberry season normally lasts from the early days of August to the end of September. Over the past few years, the main season took place between the 20th and the 30th of August.
We provide our partners with a globally unique free choice on the elderberry market, since the various end products have different raw material focuses.
The most important ingredients: pigment content (colour), brix.
